Master is one of the pioneering bands to initialize the Death Metal genre in the early to mid 1980's. For a short time, band leader Paul Speckmann would call his project "Death Strike", playing a more raw, primitive style of Metal not many of that time had known. After the Death Strike- "Fuckin' Death" sessions were completed and released, Master would reform from it's original ashes as a complete beast, to reign terror and crush souls on their way to becoming one of the original legends of the genre!
